Hajji. Md. Askar Ali (Chairmen, Basta Union Parishad, Keraniganj ) said that, the legal aid bi-monthly meeting is very important for the way social degradation has increased nowadays. UPLAC committee members have learned about this issue and support poor people. The women are more victimized in our area, so I would say that you bring more meetings arranged with us from village to village. If you tell people more about this law, then people will benefit if they know it. After Election, in the next budget, the Union Parishad will be allocated a budget for the poorest, helpless, and destitute people.
Student campaign Kushura union under Dhamrai upazila firstly a short orientation was given to Kushura Abbas Ali High School children, what is Legal Aid Act 2000 and how to get support to district legal aid office and how to deliver legal aid information. We are going to different spots in the union with the school children with their teacher and distribute information cards to the people.
